FREQUENCY - The key to effective Treatment
ADDITIONAL FREQUENCIES FOR YOU LISTS
Generaly: under 10Hz. There can be a Mild Vaso-constrictive effect
Increased
lymph drainage effect
Blood flow, inflammation, metabolism reduced or lowered
10Hz Stabilising (re-balancing effect); liver function may be stimulated, over 10Hz Mild Vaso-dilative effect blood flow
increase assisted cellular activity, metabolism increased...
Some specific frequencies are reported to have the following effects:
0.5Hz - 4Hz Sedating, relaxing and calming effect, assists with deeper sleep
Reduction of bruising, bleeding
Lymph drainage (micro-muscular movement), best at 1Hz or 3Hz
Pain relief (temporary)
0.5Hz, - 1Hz Pain relief (temporary) - natural opiates released; lymphatics assisted Reported Mitosis reduction or inhibition
of rogue cell activity; Balancingsodium - potassium cellular exchange; improved signalling
2Hz Promotes increased phagocyte and T-killer cell production
Reported stimulation of the immune system (Thymus)
3Hz Can assist Lymph drainage; also good for sleep where 0.5Hz is not benefiting
4Hz Pain modulation (temporary relief), if 0.5Hz or 1 Hz is not helping.
5Hz Increased DNA synthesis; cellular signalling; repair and healing
8Hz Muscle tissue repair, muscle tone, nerve regeneration stimulation of ATP (energy) production
recharging &
balance of ionic and cell membrane potentials
10Hz Stablising (re-balancing), improved oxygen uptake; assists liver function
12Hz, 15Hz Increased blood flow by relaxing vasculature
More oxygen, nutrients available to tissue
May assist in
peripheral circulation
18Hz Increased metabolic rate, pre-sport or pre-exercise, (for generally healthy people)
At all frequencies there is a promotion of tissue repair. There are no reported adverse side effects
The following schema summarises this frequency information.
The intended and reported function of each frequency includes:
18Hz - Improves metabolism, circulation; helps before exercise
15Hz - Stimulates sluggish blood flow
12Hz* - Maintains peripheral circulation, enhances oxygen uptake,
10Hz - Stabilising (re-balancing) effect, can assist liver function,
8Hz - Increased cellular activity, ATP promoted (energy) Best for healing, muscle tissue repair, muscle tone Nerve regeneration,
5Hz - Increased DNA synthesis; cellular signalling; healing
4Hz - Release of neurotransmitters, pain modulation
3Hz - Improved Lymphatic activity, micro- muscular toning
2Hz - May improve immune response via Thymus stimulation
1Hz - Pain relief - natural opiates released, lymphatics assisted
0.5Hz - Recommended for initial treatments. Single best setting more effective pain relief - natural opiates released
re-entrainment of natural brain, and all cell signals; Specific frequency to inhibit rogue cell mitosis
ASTHMA, BRONCHITIS (aid to management in conjunction with medical supervision)
Set the frequency at 3Hz. With about 5 minutes remaining change the frequency to 8Hz. Do not discontinue prescribed medication
without medical or professional healthcare advice.
BACK PAIN (non specific) - temporary relief
For acute pain use as with ARTHRITIS. Chronic pain (temporary relief) may be achieved by the same protocol, If symptoms
appear to be worse then revert to 0.5Hz for another week before changing the setting.
BRUISING 3 - 5 treatments at 2Hz, then 2-4 treatments at 4Hz. . If numbing or coldness increase, a peripheral circulation
discorder may be involved, use 12 Hz for 2 days.
BURNS (Relief of symptoms) Apply at 0.5Hz initially then subsequently at 3Hz unless there is infection, in which case
apply at 2Hz.
BURSITIS (knee) - temporary relief After 3 or 4 treatments at 0.5Hz, set at 5Hz and use as often as practical and as
required.
DENTAL - temporary relief of pain Relief should be experienced at 0.5Hz to 4Hz. Begin with 0.5Hz and work up with each
application , then use any of the frequencies that have been effective. Different conditions require different settings.
DIGESTIVE PROBLEMS - mild indigestion, colic, - temporary relief 2-3 treatments at 4Hz, then 2-3 treatments at 8Hz or
10Hz. Drink plenty of good clean water.
FEET - (pains and circulatory problems) For the first few applications select frequencies of 0.5Hz to 4Hz. If numbering
or coldness continues or increases it may indicate a peripheral circulation disorder is involved. In this case select the
most effective setting of 10Hz, 12Hz, or 15Hz, and place the pad beside or under the thighs to stimulate peripheral circulation
to and from the trunk of the body. If not improved, seek medical attention.
FRACTURES - APPLICATION WITH SPORTS INJURIES
HARMONY - out of, (jet lag, hangover, etc.) Use at 0.5Hz, & 5Hz for 5 minutes each, then at 10Hz for 10 minutes.
Subsequent applications at 10Hz.
INSOMNIA - may assist in the temporary relief of set at 0.5Hz on 'repeat'. Place the BLANKET on the floor under the bed
or in some equally convenient position. Press 'START" and allow the unit to operate all night in this mode. Some people, (about
8-10%), find that using 3Hz instead of 0.5Hz is more beneficial for them.
MIGRAINE HEADACHE - temporary relief of the pain Apply at 0.5Hz until the headache has subsided. Several applications
at 3Hz may then assist.
MUSCLE INFLAMMATION - (Myositis - including strains, tears, ligament injury) temporary relief refer to - APPLICATION
WITH SPORTS INJURIES
MUSCLE SPASM, CRAMPS, - (legs or internal) - temporary relief If the spasm is injury related relief should be achieved
at 0.5Hz. If it is nerve related 8Hz should prove most effective. The use of muscle relaxant liniments, gentle massage and
stretching, often helps.
NEURALGIA - temporary relief Use initially at 0.5Hz then working up to 4Hz over successive applicatons. Subsequent applications
at 12Hz should aid longer term relief. (Some people may find 10Hz more effective for their particular condition.)
NECK PAIN - (non-specific, or tension related) temporary relief Apply as with Neuralgia
OSTEOPOROSIS Use initially for 2 or 3 applications at 0.5Hz, then several applications at 3Hz. with occasional applications
at 15Hz to stimulate bone growth activity and circulation.
PSORIASIS (and other skin problems) Use initially at 0.5Hz working up with successive applications to 8Hz. Use regularly
at 8Hz returning occasionally to a lower frequency (usually 3Hz) if the condiditon is exacerbated for any reason. (Some people
may find a particular frequency more effective than others, if so, use this frequency more regularly.)
RHEUMATIC CONDITIONS - (chronic) - temporary relief Use at 0.5Hz for 3 to 5 days.
R.S.I. (Repetitive Strain Injury) - temporary relief of pain refer to - APPLICATION WITH SPORTS INJURIES
SCIATICA - temporary relief of pain Apply at 3Hz for 20 minutes. Subsequently at either 3Hz or 8Hz, whichever gives the
best relief.
SPONDYLITIS - may assist in any discomfort Use several times at 3Hz should prove most effective.
TENDONITIS - and / or Tenosynovitis refer - APPLICATION WITH SPORTS INJURIES
ULCERS (mouth) - relief of pain and symptoms Use initially at 0.5Hz and work up to 4Hz over successive applications.
Applications at 15Hz or 18Hz may then aid the final healing.
DEGENERATIVE DISEASES In conjunction with your caring medical or healthcare professional, the following suggestion may
assist. Use at 0.5Hz setting only on 'REPEAT' mode as much as is possible and practical, along with appropriate lifestyle
and nutritional advice. This setting was introduced initially because of the inhibition of rogue cell mitosis at this frequency
only. It has also proved to be calming and very beneficial in neurological conditions.
APPLICATION WITH SPORTS INJURIES
used with electric blanket option and blanket
In addressing any injury there are 2 phases to be considered.
1. Stabilise the traumatised area, and 2. Facilitate the healing process. In stablising a new injury
PULSED
MAGNETIC FIELDS MAY
· Reduce the abnormal rush of blood flwo to the injured site
· Remove waste materials from the site by activating
the lymph system
· Relax mascles and reduce spasms
· Relieve pain (temporary)
· Stimulate the immune system response
The injury can be properly addressed by following these simple steps:
First 1-3 days (or more, depending on severity) use at 0.5Hz only, then
1. is there threat of infection?
a.yes use at 2Hz
b.no go to question 2
2. Is there swelling?
a. yes Use at 3Hz
b. no Use anywhere between 0.5Hz and 4Hz
This setting should be maintained unitl the injury has
stabilised ( normally 2-5 days)
